Guild Health Ministries Have Organized A Joint University Health Seminar To Curb The Impact Of Covid19 Among Students

 

The Union of Guild Health Minister has worked with various health professionals to speak directly with students facing the consequences of COVID19 victims.

Advisor Ms. Juliet Katerega, MUBS Dean of Students, Ms. Catherine Abajo and Teacher Pauline Byakika, all from Makerere Health Sciences College., PTSD, anxiety, suicide prevention.

When talking with honorable Kisakye Maureen, Minister of Health of the Mbarara University of Science and Technology, said that the seminar aims to address the mental health of young people during these difficult times during the pandemic. The purpose of the seminar is to educate students how to do it, because everyone is still fighting Covid. 19 During this period, many young people, especially students, have psychological problems that need to be solved urgently,” she revealed.

The participating universities include UCU, Ndejje, Makerere, MUBS, Gulu and Mbarara University.
